We got Bohdi back in November ‘23 and unfortunately my allergies have been severe to him especially in this heat!! Bohdi is very active and loves being outside. He is great with other dogs and kids! Never had a biting problem or aggression shown towards either. He is a hunting breed and has shown a need for toys that are tough to handle (ropes, tires, rubber based) or he will chew on other things such as shoes and house hold items (if no one is watching). Does great in his crate and loves having a crate cover to give him his little cave!! He is potty trained!

Charlie is an unusual, unique but gorgeous dog! He appears to be a mix of a Bassett Hound (with his short legs) and Golden Retreiver. What a great combo! He is about 7 months old and currently weighs about 35lbs but will likely grow to about 40-45lbs. He is so incredibly sweet and really loves the women! We have to say, he seems to be partial to the ladies:) However, he does do well with men and kids and loves to play with dogs of all sizes. He will steal your heart! He was rescued from a rural shelter when they became overcrowded, saving him from being killed.

Lennon is the last male from a litter of 8 that came to us as a result of an unwanted litter. Mom was told to us to be an Akita/Shepherd mix and Daddy was a Lab but Lennon looks like he has some Basset in him. Look at his feet and short legs. No matter what he is, he is a great young adult- just a year old now and about 49 lb.. Many breeds have a brindle coloring, one of which is Dutch Shepherd or Hound. This may be where their coloring is coming from. Lennon walks great on a leash and is easy to handle. He is loving and loves to be petted. Beau lost his family when his family was going through a divorce. When a foster was found, the foster went out to look for Beau. That is when they discovered he was living in a car with his Mom. She didn't want to give up Beau, but she knew her boy didn't deserve that lifestyle. Through tons of tears, hugs, and kisses, Beau's Mama surrendered him over to BRAT where she knew he would be safe. Even through all the changes Beau has gone through, he is still so loving, playful, and goofy.
