Story
Meet Annie Mae! This 4-year-old Basset Hound/Weimaraner mix is as sweet as they come. She’s had a bit of a rough start, originally coming to us from a high-kill shelter in East Texas after her previous owner surrendered her for “barking at the FedEx delivery driver.” Despite that, Annie Mae is a friendly, neutral, and loving companion who just wants to be close to her people.   Annie Mae was adopted once but was returned due to some separation anxiety, which causes her to howl when left alone. She’s currently on medication to help keep her calm, and her wonderful foster family is working hard to help her overcome this. She’s a world-class snuggler and loves curling up on the couch or bed for some quality cuddle time.   Annie Mae is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and even farm animals! She’s also great with kids, making her a wonderful fit for families. We’re looking for a home with a family who can continue working with her on her separation anxiety and who can give her the support she needs. Annie Mae will need to be in a house (not an apartment or townhome) since she does become vocal when first left alone.   If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and truly lovable companion who will brighten your days, Annie Mae might just be the one for you. She’s ready to find a forever home that will love her as much as she’ll love them! ##1672189##

Story
Lennon is the last male from a litter of 8 that came to us as a result of an unwanted litter. Mom was told to us to be an Akita/Shepherd mix and Daddy was a Lab but Lennon looks like he has some Basset in him. Look at his feet and short legs. No matter what he is, he is a great young adult- just a year old now and about 49 lb.. Many breeds have a brindle coloring, one of which is Dutch Shepherd or Hound. This may be where their coloring is coming from. Lennon walks great on a leash and is easy to handle. He is loving and loves to be petted. Pls give this beautiful boy a chance to be your best dog ever!If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Hi I'm Lola! I'm about 2 years old and I am just the sweetest little wiggly girl ever. I had babies that were taken away from me after they found me wandering the streets extremely skinny, so I was very depressed in the shelter and stopped eating until my foster mama got me! The second I got to her house I ate 2 bowls of food and was so happy to be safe I rolled over and had the best belly rubs. I am spayed, microchipped and I have no aggressions over food or toys. I will always greet you with my wiggles, kisses and my big smile. I love cuddling, soft blankets, treats, meeting new dogs and a good toy to chew on. When I run or get excited I hop like a bunny and it is the cutest thing ever. I love to get the zoomies and hop around then cuddle with my foster mom for hours. I haven't met a cat yet, but I have loved the kids I have met. I had puppies before I was rescued so any small dog or child I like to treat as my own :) All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
#Gomer Pyle is 28.5 lbs, 3 y.o. male, neutered - Clever and sneaky, he can open the gate when other dogs cannot - Dog and human friendly - He is fast, gotta watch because he likes to say hi to all the neighbors. - Very affectionate, he will roll over or sit next to you or blocking other dogs to demand petting. - Has a good amount of energy, loves playing but once he's done playing he wants to just sleep. Sleep hard play hard kinda of guy - Potty trained, can hold up to 8 hours - Crate trained, he will go there to sleep in his own sometimes but will against going to bed if you force him. Once he is in the crate he will sleep through the night - He doesn't bark often, only when he want to get out of his crate to play or when he stay in the backyard and see or hear something strange - Good on leash, he loves walking and sniffing while on the walks or wandering around the neighborhood - Come when calling his name but if he is on his adventure he will not come, if you chase him, he will roll over - Knows sit, look, touch but depends on the mood - In training: leave it, wait, what is that - Need to work on jumping but his short adorable legs just make you smile. Friendly, adorable and good boy found as stray. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beau story is heartbreaking. Beau's Mama left a hearbreaking voicemail for BRAT begging them to come pick up her baby. Beau lost his family when his family was going through a divorce. When a foster was found, the foster went out to look for Beau. That is when they discovered he was living in a car with his Mom. She didn't want to give up Beau, but she knew her boy didn't deserve that lifestyle. Through tons of tears, hugs, and kisses, Beau's Mama  surrendered him over to BRAT where she knew he would be safe. Even through all the changes Beau has gone through, he is still so loving, playful, and goofy. He has an easy-going temperment that will win the hearts of many.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 26, 2024, 12:55 pm
