Story
#Gomer Pyle is 28.5 lbs, 3 y.o. male, neutered - Clever and sneaky, he can open the gate when other dogs cannot - Dog and human friendly - He is fast, gotta watch because he likes to say hi to all the neighbors. - Very affectionate, he will roll over or sit next to you or blocking other dogs to demand petting. - Has a good amount of energy, loves playing but once he's done playing he wants to just sleep. Sleep hard play hard kinda of guy - Potty trained, can hold up to 8 hours - Crate trained, he will go there to sleep in his own sometimes but will against going to bed if you force him. Once he is in the crate he will sleep through the night - He doesn't bark often, only when he want to get out of his crate to play or when he stay in the backyard and see or hear something strange - Good on leash, he loves walking and sniffing while on the walks or wandering around the neighborhood - Come when calling his name but if he is on his adventure he will not come, if you chase him, he will roll over - Knows sit, look, touch but depends on the mood - In training: leave it, wait, what is that - Need to work on jumping but his short adorable legs just make you smile. Friendly, adorable and good boy found as stray. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
