He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands, making him an easy addition to a home looking for a dog who already “gets it.” Hank does well with other dogs, especially females, and can coexist with males given enough space. Like many Bassets, he appreciates his personal bubble and prefers not to feel crowded. True to his breed, Hank enjoys life at his own pace. Think sniffing adventures, lounging around, and following his nose wherever it leads. He’s not in a rush — and honestly, he doesn’t think you should be either. He’s the kind of dog who brings a calm, steady presence to a home, with just enough personality to keep things interesting. Kroger was rescued from the Kroger's parking lot in our area (thus his name). He is about 8 years old, is extremely friendly and social; he loves everyone, including children and other animals. He's inquisitive, very, very smart and loves to learn new tricks. He even loves to go to the vet. He has seasonal allergies from time to time, and has taken medication which has been helpful for those. He needs to play and interact with people, and I can no longer provide that for him.

He is such a sweet boy and a little confused on what is going on. Archie does have allergy issues and probably an ear infections so we will get him back on track and ready for his new home! Archie is a super chill dog - good with cats and dogs and LOVES the kids. He is ready for his fur-ever home! He is such a cuddle bug and deserves a family to love him. He does have some dietary/allergy issues and is on special food and regular allergy shots. He would do well as an only dog in a quiet home where someone is around a lot. He is also heart worm positive and will need a place to go through treatment and recuperate. His foster is working on his potty training - he was an outside dog and is learning the dog door!
