Meet Shautae!  This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best.  Shautae is fully vetted and spayed, her adoption fee is $175. When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Well, I guess there are people out there who do not value our lives and who do things like that... BUT there are AMAZING people out there who SAVE unfortunate souls like mine too! So it somewhat balances out the equation. So, my name is NOEL and I am a beagle mixed pup who is active and smart and playful and HAPPY! I am all fixed up and ready for my FUREVER family!! And maybe that is YOU? I require an ACTIVE and loving family, kids would be great and another active dog?? I am a very medium sized girl, Beagley mixed girl who will make your life complete!! I have the beagle energy level- GO GO GO!!! And SNIFF, SNIFF, SNIFF!! And will sleep in my crate. I do bark on occasion to get your attention but I am not a continuous barker, so you can definitely get your sleep at night too! Say hello to Calvin! Mr. Calvin here might be the Calvin to your Hobbes, he's so sweet! Calvin was given up by his finder to our rescue recently but he's in good hands. He instantly warmed up and got along with everyone here as soon as we got him. Calvin is a Beagle mix, he's a bit of a bigger boy with his stubby legs- kind of like a super solid beagle but isn't short. Calvin loves getting attention, he'll bump you with his head so you notice and pay attention to him! He'll need a bit of leash work but is very eager to get to work! That is what people notice most about Calvin, is his eagerness. He will need slow introductions to other people and animals as he can warm up to others slowly sometimes. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
