Story
Steve has heart-stopping good looks, accented by his floppy ears! And nothing seems to rattle this way too cool boy, except maybe moles. We took him for a day out at a farm recently and we couldn't figure out why he kept barking at the grass. Can't say we've ever seen that before. It wasn't until the owner of the farm told us that she had moles that we figured out what Steve was carrying on about. He didn't get a chance to dig any moles up but he was definitely on the hunt! After a long day of searching for moles and meeting farm animals, Steve let us know he was tired and ready to return to New Leash on Life by jumping in the car. Of course, he got in on the driver's side but since he's only ten years old, he doesn't have his license yet. Sorry Steve! In case you're wondering, Steve is what we call a Bagle Hound, a Basset/Beagle mix. Typical of his mix, he's laid-back and easy-going, he does well with kids, and other dogs. If this cool dude sounds like he would fit in with your family, make an appointment to spend some time with Steve then you can adopt him for $75. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be allowed inside - especially at night and during extreme weather. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced-in yard. ** Not ready to adopt? Help care for Steve with your donation to New Leash on Life. (Pet ID D22-125)

Story
Meet Koda: Your Future Best Friend!       Hi, I’m Koda! I’m a happy and curious 10-month-old Beagle boy weighing 20 pounds, and I’m on the lookout for my perfect forever home.       I was recently adopted from a Nashville shelter, but my first home wasn’t quite the right fit. You see, I’m a Beagle, and like all Beagles, I have a lot of energy, love to “talk,” and need a safe, fenced-in yard to run, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors. My first owner lived in an apartment and didn’t realize how much I needed space to thrive, so I’m hoping to find a home that truly gets what I need to be my best Beagle self!       Here’s what you should know about me:   I’m super friendly and love people—my happy personality is contagious!   Everyone says I’m adorable with my floppy Beagle ears and cute freckles.   I’m working on perfecting my potty schedule, but with patience and love, I’ll get it down.   I’m looking for a family that loves my Beagle howl and will help me grow into the best family pet ever.       I’m currently being fostered by an amazing couple who is helping me stay safe and happy until I find my forever family.       About Critter Cavalry Rescue:   We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in Tennessee. As part of our mission, we transport animals like me to the Northeast weekly! If you’re located in the Northeast, check out our website at crittercavalry.com to learn more about our typical fees, drop-off points, and adoption process.       If you have a great fenced yard, a love for Beagles, and the patience to help me shine, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Let’s see if we’re the perfect match!       #AdoptDontShop #BeagleLove #DogAdoption #CritterCavalryRescue     ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.December 16, 2024, 1:32 pm
