Rhoda is the sweetest, cutest, Bassett you will meet! She loves a good bed and eats well and seems good with kids and people. She does seem a little more shy around men but warms up with patience and love. Rhoda needs a dental, has some lumps and bumps we will be having checked out, and a couple of tough spots on her elbows we'll have the doc take a look at also at her appointment at the end of February, but other than those few things she seems good and her foster says she is doing great at their house! This little guy is a fast learner he is already looking for pee pads to potty on and picking up new things quickly. He’s s been having a blast playing with his foster brother, Jack Jack the beagle, and is doing well in the fenced yard.   Winston’s fur is as soft as velvet, and he’s s just as cuddly as he looks. He slept through most of the night in his crate like a champ and is proving to be an adaptable, easygoing pup. His foster mom keeps a body harness and lead on him for now, but he also loves his moments of freedom to run and explore.   Winston is a total sweetheart, and his foster family is already smitten. Meet Shautae!  This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best.  Shautae is fully vetted and spayed, her adoption fee is $175. We adopted Coffee Bean from Mars Petcare in December 2023 and she just recently turned 10 years old. She is very affectionate and sweet! She does well with male dogs, but with female dogs she will have issues if they are bigger than her (smaller breeds are fine). Since she lived at Mars for the majority of her life, she is not truly housebroken even though we've done our best to help her out. She rarely has an accident! She's done well to tolerate our cat, but I can't say for sure how she would be with other cats. She would do great with a family that has kids older than 6 years old and a nice yard for her to do her beagling in and to maybe bark at squirrels. She does have some separation anxiety where she needs to be with her people and is why she needs a better home, as we soon won't be able to give her the attention she needs. So we really would prefer she had at least one person who is almost always home with her. She just loves everybody and wants nothing but pets and cuddles!
