Story
Hi there! I'm Hoover, the basset mix! Before being rescued, I spent my life outdoors, rain or shine, being used as a hunting dog. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm enjoying my new life as a cuddly and sweet companion pup! Despite my past, I have a gentle personality and am so ready to be my adopter's new best friend! It might take time for me to fully trust, but once I do, you'll see just how affectionate I can be. Please consider adopting me- I promise to be the most loyal companion ever to my furever family- could that be you? I would prefer a home that has: lots of love! My location: CARLISLE, PA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. **** FRANKIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN. HE WILL BE TRANSPORTED ONCE ADOPTION IS FINAL**** Frankie is a 3 year old Bassett mix. He is heartworm negative, neutered male. He is up to date on shots. He is an energetic fun loving boy. Loves to play ball and his toys. Rides great in a car. Good with people. No small or senior dogs, unknown about cats. Unknown how he would do with bigger dogs hasn't been tested with them. Knows how to sit. Very smart, doesn't chew and is housebroken. He will bring fun and joy to your life. Probably best as only dog.  Frankie's adoption fee of $550.00 includes transportation.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Frankie to his new family. Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Hi there! My name is Doug, I'm the sweetest and most gentle beagle boy. I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Now that I've been rescued by beagle Freedom Project, I'm loving my new life and gaining confidence every day. Despite my rough beginning, I am a gentle and sweet soul. I love exploring, whether it's going for a long walk in the park or just sniffing about in a yard. While I get along well with other dogs and would LOVE a home with a friendly pup friend, I haven't had much exposure to children or cats yet. I would absolutely thrive in a patient home with those excited to have a furry family member! I hope someone notices me soon... could you be my adopter? I would prefer a home that has: other dogs, lots of love! My location: BROKEN ARROW, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal.
