Pamela and Tommy Lee are an inseparable duo! They love cuddling in the same bed, and having their walks and play time together. They have a very unique look! Pamela is the more confident and outgoing of the two, and gets along really well with children and all people. Tommy is more anxious than Pam, and prefers to meet people slowly. He can become a bit vocal when he's uncomfortable. Pam and Tommy prefer being the only two dogs, and don't get along with others. They both love to swim when the weather's nice!

Story
BAGEL | 3 years old | Beagle | Neutered and vaccinated | Toronto Bagel is as easy as it can get. He loves all his humans and dog friends. His tail starts wagging as soon as he sees his humans. He currently lives with adult male, female, a teenager and two male dogs. They all chase each other enjoy their time inside and outside. They share their toys, and bones. He will adjust to any conditions. He is happy to have humans in his life. If you're just working on your laptop he will just lay next to you quietly. If you're cooking in the kitchen he will sit quietly hoping for food to fall. He's an absolute sweetheart and so easy to have around. Some great things about Bagel: He is super quiet He doesn't bark unless someone is at the door No resource guarding towards other dogs No reactivity to other dogs while on a walk He listens when asked to stop He is not destructive when left without humans Bagel just wants to be your best friend. What a gem! You'll find the application here: https://form.jotform.com/pawsacrossthewater/adoption-application

Story
Meet Woods, a charming 6-month-old neutered male Beagle mix with a beautiful brown and white coat, weighing 7kg. Woods’ journey began when he was left outside a veterinary clinic before it opened, but his resilient spirit has shone through ever since. This little guy is a people magnet. Woods easily warms up to strangers, happily seeking attention, leaning in for pets, and even rolling over to show his belly once he feels extra comfortable. He’s equally fond of men and women, and though he hasn’t yet met children under 13, his gentle nature suggests he’d be a fantastic companion for them. Woods gets along wonderfully with other dogs, staying friendly and avoiding conflict. While he might feel a bit overwhelmed by overly energetic or larger dogs and run off to hide, he’s all playful mischief with dogs his own size, often initiating play. He’s the type to avoid drama and prefers peace over confrontation. Though his interactions with cats haven’t been observed yet, his sweet temperament hints he could befriend them, too. With a moderate energy level, Woods loves a good romp outdoors but is content to rest calmly at home afterward. Walking is still a learning experience for him—he’s cautious about passing people or cars and might pause or look to his human for reassurance. However, he’s a gentle walker, doesn’t pull on the leash, and feels safe when his person moves at a relaxed pace. He’s more confident in quieter areas and enjoys exploring at his own pace. Woods has no food-guarding tendencies and does well with crate training, settling in quietly when needed. While he generally prefers doing his business outdoors, he still uses pee pads at night and occasionally tears them up—just puppy antics that will likely fade with time. He’s still discovering his voice and has recently learned to bark, often using it to communicate with his people. Woods doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety, but like any puppy, he may get into a little mischief if left alone for too long. Woods is the perfect blend of playful and sweet, looking for a home where he can continue to grow into his full potential. Could you be the one to give him the love and security he deserves?
