Please contact Jamie (jamie@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet.  Meet Stitch! Stitch is a 1-2 year old mixed breed. We believe has some basset hound in home as he has squaty bow legs. Stitch is happy go lucky. Anyone who meets him, instantly falls in love. He is small/medium weighing 23 pounds. Stitch is friendly with other dogs. He hasn’t met cats. We beleive he would be okay with kids. Stitch is currently staying at our shelter so he is kenneled and crate trained but because of this we are unable to declare whether or not he’s housebroken. Stitch’s adoption fee is $350   All Paws and Prayers animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention.  Adoption fees also include the pet's spay/neuter and microchipping.  The first step in the adoption process is to complete a no-obligation adoption application at www.pawsandprayers.org.     December 13, 2024, 8:46 pm

Story
Our family adopted Georgie a year ago. She is about four years old, spayed, 35 pounds, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and no health issues. She is a sweet, sociable, low energy beagle-basset mix who loves walks, snuggling, and drives. Recently, my dad has been diagnosed with cancer and I am driving him to chemo visits weekly when I am not working. Prior to this situation, I was home much more often, Georgie had walks, attention, and my older daughters still lived at home. An ideal home for Georgie would have kids and another dog for companionship if the owner is gone for long stretches of time. The adoption fee includes: dog food, kennel, leash accessories, e-collar, air tag, dog zipline, bed, and grooming supplies. I cannot give Georgie the love and attention she needs and feel horrible about this. However, it is not fair to her to live an unhappy life due to what is happening in mine. She wants nothing more than love and affection, the simple essentials of life for a dog!
