When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! Meet Speedo! At 5 months old Speedo weighs 30#. We are guessing he will end up being around 40-45#. He is sweet, smart, energetic, curious & fearless. I haven't found anything he is afraid of! Speedo has the cutest curled up tail and beautiful white & brindle markings. He can entertain himself by playing with his toys, but also loves all dogs and people. He is potty trained (we have a dog door). He is quick to learn commands. He already knows come, sit, down, wait, no, off and leave it. He quietly sleeps in his pen at night. Speedo is a typical puppy with lots of energy (usually followed by a nap). He would love a fenced in backyard and/or another dog to play with. Cuddling with this little guy just makes your heart melt. We believe Speedo's mom is a Bassett hound mix weighing just 22# (I have pictures of her). This cute & funny little guy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots and preventatives. His adoption fee is $325.

Zombie was dumped at a camping ground with his three other siblings, Candy, Boo and Pumpkin in Noel, Missouri. A nice Samaritan scooped these puppies up, brought them to safety to her own home and fostered them until Country Acres Rescue could take them in! These 4-month old puppies are some of the most perfect puppies CAR has ever had! They're not only adorable but they love to snuggle, play with toys; they are your typical goofy puppies!! We believe they are beagle/hound mixes and are only about 20 lbs!
