Meet Jeff! LOW-RIDER LOVER BOY! Jeff is a two-year-old, 45-pound brindled Basset hound mix who's unique look and lovable personality will have you smiling from ear to ear! Jeff is one of those pups you can't help but want to hang out with. He's got got a special swagger and is so much fun to be around. He knows how to sit and takes his treats gently. Jeff is always up to be outside and doesn't miss a chance to follow his nose out in the yard. He will need a yard of his own and daily exercise in his new home. We can't help but point out how cute he was during his photo shoot! Not only has he mastered his puppy eyes, he rocked his little tie! Cuteness overload!! Based on our evaluation, we feel Jeff will do well in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the potential to live with other dogs as he has done so before. Story
Copenhagen loves his humans and likes to sleep next to them. Good on leash. Generally laid back. Loves belly rubs. Likes to play ball but never brings it back to you. Wants you to chase him. Lived with 2 previous Great Danes without issue. After the loss of our previous Danes another was brought into the home and the battle for pack leader ensued. Food aggressive with this one but not with previous Danes. As previously stated did well with our late Danes but never got along with this one. He has not been aggressive to other dogs in neighborhood or walking on leash. Have not tried to feed him with other dogs. Fenced yard would be best as he likes to follow his nose. Terrified of gunfire, fireworks & severe thunderstorms. Doesn't mind going out in the rain.

Charlotte is a new arrival to Paradise Animal Rescue. So far, she is so sweet. She wants to be loved. Charlotte is mother to Wilbur who is also available at PAR. They are separated since having surgery and we feel they will do well in their own homes. She plays well with Wilbur and chases him around the yard. She is potty trained and a clean housekeeper. Charlotte will need some time to recover from recent spay and hernia removal surgeries. Spayed Microchipped Will you be the one to give me a home for the holidays? *Please note that all meet and greets are during our open hours, Saturdays 10am-1pm, or you may request an appointment on other days by emailing adopt@parpets.org.
