Hi, everyone. My name is stella mccartney and I am a dairy special Bassett Hound mix puppy that was born the middle of October to a pure bred Bassett Hound mom. Me and my siblings were born in the woods where the man who owned my mom was living in a tent and down on his luck. He contacted a foster of Critter Cavalry Rescue, and she came to pick us up a few weeks ago and help us get our shots and worming and our spays and neuters done. I am living in a terrific foster home that is allowing me to run and play in the yard and in the house, and to also be mentored by their adult dogs who are showing me the ropes. My foster mom laughs at me because she says I am fearless. It seems that one of the adult dogs really doesn't like me and my sister very much because of our puppy energy, but I still persevere trying to get him to like me. My foster mom says I don't take no for an answer. I am a happy girl and very excited about meeting a new family soon. We are going to have so much fun running in the backyard and letting me.Sniff and play and explore and cuddle. I can do all of those things really well and I promise to make some family's life extremely happy. Please read up on the bassett, hound traits, and be sure that you can give me the best life ever. This pup was born to a basset hound lab mix mom. She was born 7-1-22. This pup is shy at first. She warms up great though. This pup likes cats and loves other dogs. We have started crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current on vaccines and preventives and microchipped. She is spayed and heartworm tested(negative).This pup will receive a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all health records with adoption. Stumpy is living in a very rural area with a family that asked for help in finding him a new home. He's used to living a family life with children and loves the children. He would be best as an only dog. He's a mixed dog but a popular mix, called a Bassador. The Bassador temperament can vary a lot depending on whether they take after their Lab or Basset Hound parent more. Generally, they are sociable and loving. We are fortunate to know how Stumpy has done, living with a family. Bassadors love attention, especially from their favorite person. If you want a dog with a very unique look who’s loyal to a fault, the Bassador could be the dog for you! Stumpy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
