Story
Meet Burger! Burger is an adorable 4-year-old male, who is eagerly searching for his home. This lovable guy is bursting with playfulness, making every day an adventure in his eyes. Burger is sure to bring a smile to your face and fill your home with joy. Burger thrives on interaction and loves to engage in activities with his human friends. He would be the perfect companion for an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors. While Burger is generally a social butterfly, he can be a bit timid and cautious in new situations. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping him build up his confidence. Food is one of Burger's biggest motivators, which makes him the perfect pup for training. With positive reinforcement and a handful of treats, Burger is ready to learn all sorts of tricks and commands! In addition to his playful nature, Burger has a cozy side. He enjoys taking leisurely naps, right by your side! Burger would thrive in a home where someone has a flexible schedule and ample time to spend with him. An owner who can provide companionship and lots of love will be rewarded with a loyal and devoted furry friend. Quick Stats! -- Dogs: Does well with other dogs, with slow and appropriate introductions. -- Cats: Does not currently live with cats. Will require training if joining a home with a cat. -- Children: Does well with kids but do best in a home where he is the primary focus.

Story
Arthur is a short-legged, long-tailed hound mix who is only beginning to realize his greatness. Arthur will benefit from structure and routine (walk, eat, sleep, and repeat!). He will need time to slowly get to know you, and several visits. He is a handsome little guy that enjoys walks and outside playtime. Arthur would do best in a home without children, a fenced yard, and we are not sure about other animals, because he is rather selective about who he likes. Arthur is ready to start his amazing new life with someone willing to provide patience, love, and has dog experience.DOB 2/28/2023 40 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
