Story
We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped. After several applications for her mother we have decided that we can’t separate the girls. Check out her mom piglet’s profile

Story
Sueno's sweetness is the stuff of legends, but he has to get to know you first. Look at those eyes, friends. Seriously, has ANYBODY* EVER looked at us like that? (*reevaluating life choices and considering 4th doggo.) This vertically-challenged unicorn is just a smooth operator. Sueno was made for the laidback life. He's a player and yet also a napper, and proof the two can happily coexist inside the body of a brindle lowrider. Can we all just look in Sueno's eyes again? Look at all that love. Are you getting dizzy with all the feels yet? Look again. How about now? We need to sit down. Please fan us. Sueno has big dreams of life's simplest pleasures. It's like a slow motion movie that plays inside his head, White Diamonds style. The two of you taking a walk in the park. Fade to you throwing the tennis ball. Dissolve to a tight shot of you giving him a belly rub. Now, you're running together across a field of daisies, the sun is setting off in the distance. Your pockets are filled with treats, which are spilling out before Sueno. Can you please come get Sueno and make all this happen, because we really, really want to see this good boy get his happy-ever-after. Fill out an adoption application, and we'll make the magic happen.

Story
My name is Copper Bleu! I'm an 8-year-old, beagle (DOB 09-04-2015) weighing in at 45 pounds and considered to be a bit overweight. Maybe we could start 2024 right by being healthy together? I'm a handsome beagle, if I do say so myself, with some beautiful brown eyes and a silly smile/or serious face that will melt your heart. I had a wonderful owner that asked Angels to help me find a new family due to my owner's declining health and financial hardship, it had nothing to do with me. It was very sad, but my foster family has taken great care of me.     Here's a little info: I know simple commands like sit and go outside. I'm pretty good on a leash even though my nose leads the way, I'm told that is the characteristic of a typical beagle. I enjoy roaming free in a fenced backyard, play with other dogs and love everyone I meet.    I am house-broken and crate trained (but not my favorite spot). I'm considered a "Velcro dog" who lives to be by your side. I would love for someone that is home a lot because I really need to know that everything is going to be ok. I'm not a fan of car rides, thunder or fireworks and take meds for anxiety when certain occasions arise. I'm honestly a homebody with my people and enjoy laying on the couch as close to my human(s) as possible. I'll even let you hold me like a baby to snuggle!    I truly love food, and treats are my favorite, next to getting all the attention. I am on a sensitive stomach, dog food and medication for hypothyroidism. I do bark when left alone, so apartment/townhomes/condos are probably not ideal for my forever home, most neighbors are not fans of my singing.     I would love to meet my new family soon - I've been waiting for you. If you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application for me today! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.            November 4, 2024, 11:32 am

Story
Doxy is an eight year old, 17 pound, Beagle/Doxy mix. He was returned to AAU because his adopter was going into a senior living situation. He is a very sweet little dog. He does bark a lot, so he can not live in an apartment or condo. He is house trained, but he’s on Lasix (a fluid pill) for his heart condition. He can only be left for a few hours or so, depending on the time you gave the medication.    Speaking of his heart condition, Doxy does have rather advanced heart disease. He is on 2 other heart medications besides the Lasix. And I’ll add to his being left, that he has separation anxiety. He needs a home with another sweet dog. I would not crate him. I do have 2 personal dogs and I give them and Doxy the run of the house when I leave.    Doxy also has urinary crystals and must be on a special diet. Finally, he has Gallbladder disease for which he must take medication. Summing it up, he will be on a special diet and medication for the rest of his life. He would do best with a fenced yard because of his medication.   I know he sounds like a train wreck, but he’s a very good dog. He loves everyone and other dogs. He is not a fan of cats. Doxy is very attached to his people and smart! He picked up our routine quickly. He enjoys watching TV on the sofa.    Doxy is also a good watch dog. He spends much of his day “lounging”. He loves, loves, loves his evening leash walks. Honestly, you would never know he had any health issues when you meet him. I am retired and have a busy life. Doxy’s health issues have not interfered with my lifestyle. He has only added love to our household! Story
What a handsome little boy!  This is Yoda Hampton.  This little guy is very bonded to his sibling Trapper Hampton, who could be his twin. How wonderful if they could be adopted together as they are so bonded. They were rescued from a hoarding situation . They were well loved but received little socialization & training. Yoda is wary of strangers and skittish.   Once you gain Yoda's Hampton's trust he becomes a completely different pup. He loves to be held and to sit in your lap. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He answers to his name and goes into his crate on command. He likes being outdoors, running and playing and will do best with a fenced yard.. He especially likes playing with his toys and his brother Trapper Hampton. Yoda Hampton is learning to walk on a leash and will need additional training.. He does go potty outside ( usually LOL). Ask his foster for tips for his continued training.   With some trust building, training and patience, Yoda Hampton's   new forever family will be very lucky to have him as a member. They will get a lifetime of joy and love from this loving pup                          An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions.
