Adopted him as a stray from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society in November 2020. My son is in between living situations and has no place for the dog to live currently.

Story
Often mistaken as a Welsh corgi, Emmett is a 9 year old male Bassett-Collie mix. He is a tender-hearted, smart guy that loves affection and to please you. He enjoys being outdoors, living most of his life in the country near cows and chickens. He tolerates being crated at night well. He has never shown aggression and does not meet a stranger. Hyperactive dogs can make Emmett a bit nervous, but otherwise he thrives in the company of other social dogs. Several life circumstances have created a need for Emmett to have a new home where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves.
