We have only had him a couple weeks, got him from the pound, and he started sneezing so took him to vet and hes got an URI, so needs to be well before new home. He needs an older couple to be with him all day or a family that'll let him stay out all day and come in to sleep in their bed at night because he loves his family and wants to be with you 24/7 but love outside. His anxiety is getting better but he doesn't like bunnies and ours was here first The amazing: Super snuggle bug! His playful side is coming out and hes a dork haha Loves to be outside! If protection against falling brooms is what you need, he will be there! The bad: Only vaccine needed is rabies- was going to go back to the pound to get it but hes got an URI and on antibiotics, going to vet 2/3 for reevaluation. Not house broken Separation anxiety even me and my husband are there he paces Small kids that dont know body language need to be supervised around him as he gives warnings but they ignore them so he growls

Story
Hannah is a 6 year old Hound mix! She is a wonderful girl that is well behaved, calm and is an around easy girl! She has lots of excess skin and her snout is slightly crooked probably as a deformity from birth but this dos not affect her and makes her look as unique as her personality! She is an amazing girl that was rescued from a hoarding situation of about 17 dogs and puppies. Quite a few have gone to their forever homes but there are still several looking for their's. We believe Hannah was the matriarch of the group and a few of the remaining dogs we believe to be her daughters. Hannah was one of many that were heartworm positive and since coming to the rescue she has been treated and is heartworm negative! She is learning manners at the rescue including leash walking, crate training and is HOUSEBROKEN!!!! She is spayed, fully vaccinated and dewormed! Her adoption fee is $250.January 12, 2025, 10:34 pm

Dune is a 3 year old Basset Hound/corgi  mix that weighs 35 lbs and has short legs! He was found with an adoptive mother dog and her litter of puppies. He was adopted and then returned a year later. He had a horrible urinary tract infection and had aquired heartworms. He has been treated and for both and soon will be good as new! Dune is a sweet baby but does enjoy speaking as most hounds do! Dune is crate trained and HOUSEBROKEN! He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He loves other dogs and would do far better in a home with another dog already. He had to have a double cherry eye surgery but no worries as everything went very well and he will need no additional care in the future! This also will not cause any vision issues. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and will soon be heartworm negative! His adoption fee is $250.January 26, 2025, 9:48 am
