Story
Meet Pearl Jam AKA P.J.! P.J. was rescued from a hoarding situation by another rescue and we offered to help him find a home. He has been waiting for a FURever home since 10/2023 for some crazy reason. P.J. is your typical happy go lucky, sweet Beagle/Bassett mix boy! He is friendly with all people and MOST other dogs (as long as they don’t try to eat his food). He is around 2-3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. He is a cute (chunky)“low rider”! He is neutered, current on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm preventative. He is crate trained, but does need outside to potty regularly until he settles in. Pearl Jam either needs to have a secure fenced in yard to play/potty in (not to live in) OR someone willing to walk him several times a day. He seems like the type that would be fine with or without another dog. He loves being near his people and will let you know when he’s done being alone too! lol Best in a home without cats, as he occasionally will chase. The adoption fee is $150 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Got this couch potato from the pound in January. Hes up to date with flea medication, going to the vet 2/3 for the all clear from an URI and will get his rabies shot so will be up to date on shots as well. He has a playful side and is a goofball when he wants to be. We were told he was five and vet says thats about right. Hes scared of the cats around our neighborhood, not sure about other dogs as we havent had him around them as hes been sick. He doesnt get along with our rabbit AT all, our lab did so we thought Turner might and thats why we are rehoming him.
