We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped. After several applications for her mother we have decided that we can’t separate the girls. Got this couch potato from the pound in January. Hes up to date with flea medication, going to the vet 2/3 for the all clear from an URI and will get his rabies shot so will be up to date on shots as well. He has a playful side and is a goofball when he wants to be. We were told he was five and vet says thats about right. Hes scared of the cats around our neighborhood, not sure about other dogs as we havent had him around them as hes been sick. He doesnt get along with our rabbit AT all, our lab did so we thought Turner might and thats why we are rehoming him.

He loves his people and has been good around other dogs, he is even learning to play with them. Mango has an assertiveness towards food (not aggression) so he will try and take food out of your hand if its accessable. With that in mind he would be better with older children.
