Story
Hi, I'm Dale! I'm a 2-year-old Basset Hound - Beagle blend and I weigh 35 lbs. I love playing outside and snuggling with my people, and I'm looking for a family who likes those things, too! General Behavior: Dale is a very loveable dog. He is quite athletic and sure would love to run around the yard.He is affectionate and snuggly and will greet you at the door every day with a wagging, wiggling tail, but he's also independent and clever and can do his own thing. Likes & Dislikes: Dale loves walking and being outdoors. He enjoys playing with toys and a ball, too. Training: Dale is a good boy! He is housetrained if let out regularly, loves going on car rides, and generally has good basic manners. He has a tendency to pull on a leash while walking, but that can be corrected. He sleeps in a dog bed in his human's room at night. Medical: Dale only needs monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: Dale is good with other dogs of all sizes, especially other calm, laid back dogs. He hasn't been observed around cats, but his foster thinks he'd be OK with them. Children: Gentle Dale hasn't been observed around children yet. Home: Dale will bark if left alone, so he'd do best with a single-family home where someone is around more often than not. Once he's settled into a permanent home, this barking may correct itself. Grooming: Dale should not need too much elaborate grooming beyond brushing, nail trims, and the occasional bath. Overall: Dale will make a wonderful companion for an active family who can love him forever. Do you find Dale to delightful? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. Dale is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $375. ##2252735##

Story
Hi, I’m Rufus, a sweet and playful Beagle/Basset Hound blend boy.  I’m two years old, weigh 30 pounds and have a black, white and tan coat.  I’m looking for a loving, patient family who is willing to help me learn more about life as a dog! General Behavior: Rufus is an affectionate and adventurous boy who is happily learning about life with his loving foster family.  Likes & Dislikes: Rufus loves toys – the more the better!  He also enjoys the company of his humans, especially when they are willing to give a good belly rub. Training: This sweet boy will need a patient family who will continue his training.  He’ll need a consistent schedule for house training, and he is still learning basic manners and leash walking.  He is food- and love-motivated, which will go a long way with training. Medical: Rufus will need heartworm and flea/tick preventive medicines like any pup. Other Animals: Rufus is experienced with calm, laid-back dogs and enjoys their company.  He does not have experience with cats, but his foster mom thinks he would be fine with them.  Children: Rufus is great with kids of all ages! Home: Rufus can find his way under fence panels and will require a single-family home with a securely fenced yard.  Grooming: As a short-haired pup, this cutie will just need to have regular baths and nail trimming. Overall: If you are looking for a playful and curious companion, Rufus may be the one for you! Are you the one for Rufus?  Please visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $375. ##2252730##

Ivy just loves belly rubs.  She really should be an only dog.  She has some food aggression but she gets along with kids and is housebroken.  She's the perfect dog to cuddle up with, she's just so soft. ##2311231##
