I LOVE attention, and I will happily repay that attention with lots of snuggles and kisses. I love toys, especially my big chew bone. The shelter staff say I am very playful and funny. They all love me, and say that when they are with me, I make them smile and giggle. Since I am a Hound Mix, I am vocal, and I love to talk to you. Ihave been described as "a happy go lucky kind of guy!" I love everyone I meet. I will make a great dog for the family or person who adopts me. Are you my person? I would love nothing more than a forever home of my own. Please come to the shelter to meet me...I promise you will fall in love with me!

Hello! My name is June. I’m a 5 month old mixed breed— mostly Basset Hound. My mom adopted me from a local animal shelter but it turns out I’m not quite the right fit for my current home. I am funny, sweet, love to snuggle (and would cuddle all day!), and I love to run and play with my Bichon brother. So far, I’m very obedient on a leash and around other animals. I am learning “sit” right now and respond well to treat training. I’m working on crate training, potty training, and most of all— separation anxiety. I do not like when my mom leaves. If you feel like you could help me with separation anxiety and give me, ideally, a fenced yard to run and play in, and/or if you have another hound that could show me the ropes, we might be a great fit. The vet estimates I’m about as big as I am going to get at 25-30 lbs. I love sleeping with you, too, as right now, that crate makes me really scared. I’m as sweet and cute as could be. Thank you for considering adopting me! Tell me about you.
