Story
Meet Goldie! She has a gentle heart of gold, who had a rough start to life. She is slowly finding her confidence and learning how to trust her humans, though making progress everyday!  Goldie is fully potty-trained, crate-trained, dog friendly, and adores belly rubs. She has been extremely low maintenance, and is her best self on the couch next to her people. She even lets herself out to potty when needed. So far she is a bit afraid of walking on leash, though would be happy with backyard access.  Goldie can be shy initially, so is looking for a loving and patient home who can let her feel safe and blossom into the sweet, spunky, and goofy girl that she is, at her own pace. She is very food motivated, which will be helpful with training.  She would thrive with a backyard, and having a dog to show her the ropes would be a bonus. Goldie is waiting for someone who can give her endless love, belly rubs, and guidance. In return, she will offer constant couch cuddles, her sweet soul, and free entertainment with her cute and silly walk.  ##2689619##

Story
Our volunteers have this to say about Francesca: `She is very hapy outside! Sniffs and walking around play yard. Super sweet girl, loves pets, loves being outside!` Francesca can be a little shy at times, so if there are any kids in the home, they should be old enough to go slow with her in the beginning*Older kids recommended

Story
Cooper is a sweet loving boy. He loves to cuddle, so if you like cuddling with your pet he will proudly fill that role. I gets along well with dogs and humans. He is 5 years old, and still has energy to be playful and excited. He loves walks and the dog park. He will stay close to you at the dog park, but a leash is needed if not in a closed space. He is fine to be inside mostly but does enjoy hanging out in the backyard, and he would love the ability to go in and out during the day as he pleases. He's a sweet boy, he only needs food, outside time, and cuddling to be happy.*Bonded with his sister of 5 years, Izzy. I want them to stay together.

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Pops finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Meet Pops | 7-year-old Beagle, 50# | Playful, Cuddly, and Curious Meet Pops, a lovable 7-year-old Beagle who perfectly balances playtime and relaxation. Pops is house-trained (though, like any dog, occasional accidents may happen as he adjusts to a new home), sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and is a total gentleman when left home alone. He’s happiest with a few daily walks and loves playing tug-of-war or games where he has to search for treats. For downtime, he enjoys cuddling on the couch or lounging in a recliner chair. True to his Beagle nature, Pops loves to follow his nose and can get excited when he spots rabbits, squirrels, or other dogs during walks. He’s been working with a trainer and continues to make progress with his leash manners. He does best with smaller dogs and can be reactive toward dogs his size or larger, so a home without other big dogs would be ideal. Pops adores human companionship—he’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch or rest his head on your lap. Motivated by both food and affection, he thrives with a little structure and consistency. Pops would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely sniff, explore, and satisfy his curious Beagle instincts. The ideal home for Pops will be active and structured, with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as he does, no cats, and children aged 10 and up. With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and love of snuggles, Pops is ready to be both your adventure buddy and your cozy companion at the end of the day.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
