Story
Kash is a 4 year old basset hound / Italian greyhound mix. He loves attention. He loves to cuddle and he loves to chew on bones. He is potty trained and crate trained as well. I’ve had Kash since he was 8 weeks old. I can no longer provide him with the attention that he needs and deserves as my workload has dramatically increased. I would love to find him a new forever home:)

Story
Bear is an adorable 2.5 - 3 year old, 50lb, Bassett Hound/ Labrador mix. We would like to put him in a calm home, with a secure, fenced backyard. He has short legs but he can jump high. He would be best as an only dog, or with a female dog that likes to play rough. He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt out to households with children under 10 years old. An application needs to be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. An application can be obtained on our website http://www.deathrowdogsrescue.com

Story
Jethro and his sister Ellie May were rescued from a terrible situation from Kern County Animal services in Lake Isabella. The puppies were living under a dilapitated house with some other dogs that were in rough shape. They are now about 10 weeks old and have the cutest shortest lowrider legs. We are guessing they will be medium sized full grown. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Story
Moseley is guaranteed to fill your day with laughs. He's a high energy Bassett/Pit mix who loves running, jumping and lounging in the sun. He would do well with an active companion who likes walks and has a yard to run in. He isn't all energy, he loves to be cuddled and have his ears rubbed. Moseley plays well with other dogs. He would benefit from an older dog, preferably female, who can show him the rules of the house. He hasn't paid much attention at all to cats at his foster mom's. Moseley isn't completely house trained, but has been learning quickly. He will let you know with a bark when he needs to go out..
