My name is Brutus, and I am eight years old. I recently lost my mom, so I am looking for a new home. I have been neutered and am current on all my shots and am heartworm negative. I am on monthly heartworm and flea preventative (Simparica Trio). I am allergic to chicken, but I do very well on lamb based dry dog food. I love to be outside, go for walks, play with my stuffed babies and I am just as happy hanging out on the couch with you. I am not crazy about cats, so I would rather not live with them. I am very smart and easily directed and I am kennel trained but not destructive if given the run of the house. I am basically a happy go lucky kind of guy so if you are looking for the perfect family companion, that’s ME!! Our transport heads to the north east every week. RescueVet transport goes all the way up to Rhode Island, delivering fur friends to their forever homes. Transport fee is an additional $185.00. PENELOPE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Meet Penelope! She is an adorable pup who will melt your heart with her sweet and lovable nature. She is approximately 5 months old and currently weighs about 18 lbs. She loves to zoom around the yard, play with her stuffed animals. She loves to play with her foster brothers. Penelope does great on car rides. She loves her snacks at any time of the day. Penelope would do great with an active family or another active dog. She is almost fully potty trained. Penelope walks good on a leash and knows basic commands. She’s a super sweet, fun little dog. She’ll make a great addition to any family. She’ll probably be a medium size dog, but she has petite features so I don’t see her getting over 35 pounds. She is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. She adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA.
