Story
Kiwi was born on April 14th of 2023 to a breeder who specializes in basenji mixes. Kiwi’s father is a pure bred basenji and her mother is a corgi Frenchie mix. She loved to run, walk, explore. Kiwi LOVES to hunt for eggs, birds and small rodents. She’s gifted at digging up voles. She loves physical affection. She loves cuddling with us in bed and on the couch. Kiwi sheds a ton. Kiwi came to us from a friend whose child was very allergic to her. When we adopted her in July of 2023 we lived in a house with a doggie door and a fenced in backyard. We never prevented her from going outside. Unfortunately, now that we’re divorced I live in a tiny apartment with no backyard. Kiwi does well in doggie daycare. She loves to play with other dogs. Kiwi cannot be crate trained. She has destroyed 3 crates. She cannot be locked in a room. She will break blinds and chew up shutters and carpet and paint on doors. She has severe separation anxiety. We will miss her!
