Story
Kendi has a classic basenji personality, even though he's a mix. He is incredibly smart but also stubborn. He loves his person, but wants cuddles on his terms. In a lot of a ways he's a cat personality dog. He doesn't yodel like a classic basenji, but has some interesting noises. He loves other dogs and playing with them at the park, especially dogs that are bigger than him! For some reason Kendi gets anxious around new adults, especially when they first come into his home or near his person. Which might be from before I got him. He was found in a dumpster when he was about 8 months old. So parts of his past I don't know. But he is totally fine with kids, there are adults that he gets nervous around. He will growl at some people but not at everyone. I'm not sure what the trigger is. And most people he is eventually fine with, but my sister in law he did eventually end up getting aggressive toward. Kendi deserves a good home where he feels secure and won't be a danger to anyone.
