One or two canine teeth are slightly chipped, but there is no nerve damage, so no immediate treatment is necessary. 2⃣ Rescue Story * White spent time at a dogslaughter farm in Juksan, where he witnessed his fellow dogs being killed right before his eyes. He lived in constant fear, but when Adogs shut down the farm, he was finally given a second chance at life. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy. Approaches to sniff and sticks around familiar people, but runs away if you try to touch him. If you corner him a bit so he can’t run away, he accepts being petted. Is okay with familiar people touching him at any space! You can minimize the time it takes to get closer to him with treats. Although he isn’t yet affectionate with people, he’s in the process of opening his heart and will get close to people quickly once he lives in a family home. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and does not cause issues. Is not particularly interested in approaching new dogs first. Seems to prefer smaller-sized dogs and plays well with familiar companions. * With Cats: It is unclear how he will react as he hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Does only outdoor pottying at our center. * Hygiene: Runs away when you try to take care of him but once you catch him and start petting and brushing him, he stays still and enjoys it. * Walks: Gets a bit nervous when walking outside so it’s recommended to take him out to quiet and familiar places. Doesn’t pull on the leash but tends to get stubborn when something scares him. * Car Sickness: Is comfortable with riding in a car without motion sickness. * Nip: Doesn’t bite, even defensively. * Bark: Rarely barks, but has copied other dogs if they bark when visitors come to the center. * Like: Likes treats so much that he sometimes overpowers his fear of people! * Dislike: Becomes wary and frightened of unfamiliar people, vehicles, or external stimuli.

We think he’s a Basenji/Terrier mix. He’s got a cute curly tail and stocky fit body. He also has an adorable personality and enjoys being silly. SKY loves to be active and go on adventures! He would be great for someone who enjoys walking or hiking. SKY also good at keeping himself with his toys and ball! SKY is great with other dogs of his size or larger! We don’t recommend he be in an home with small dogs or cats because he enjoys chasing them (as well as any small animal). When Adogs staff visited the shelter, they were so moved by the puppies wagging their tails that they decided to rescue the entire litter.​3️⃣ Basic Information* ​With People: Is curious about humans but quite timid, so he doesn't usually approach first. Please approach him slowly, as sudden movements may startle him. Shows curiosity and sniffs people who are sitting or have their backs turned. Occasionally, he will come close on his own to take treats.* ​With Dogs: Gets along well with his friends at the center. Rather than playing energetically, he prefers to relax and rest. Sometimes mouths at other friends as if giving them a warning if there are treats around. With Cats: Watches and tries to chase cats. Because the shelter was overcrowded, euthanasia lists were regularly posted. When Dduri’s name appeared on the list, Adogs urgently rescued him. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be a bit cautious at first due to shyness. Once familiar, follows people well and takes treats eagerly. Even approaches first to be petted. * With Dogs: Doesn’t actively play with other dogs but coexists peacefully. Even with familiar dogs, he tends to keep to himself rather than engage in play. Is a bit uncomfortable with dogs that are overeager to play. * With Cats: Didn’t pay much attention to cats when he encountered them. * Separation Anxiety: Currently lives in a group setting at our center, so it’s hard to assess. Training may be needed once he moves into a home environment. * Potty Training: Currently does his business outdoors at our center. * Walks: Follows nicely and walks on a leash without any resistance. Marks with his pee frequently, but doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs or cats during walks. * Grooming: Does well with brushing and is fine with having his paws touched. But he’s a little uncomfortable during nail trims. * Car Sickness: No signs of motion sickness when transported to our center. * Biting: Previously, he gave warning bites when he was uncomfortable with something, but he no longer bites after receiving training at a dog training facility. He’s even okay with rough housing. * Barking: Barks at unfamiliar dogs who pass by his kennel when he’s inside. * Dislikes: Although he accepts touch even if it surprises him, he expresses his displeasure if he’s suddenly grabbed. * Tricks: Knows how to “shake hands”!
