Story
Meet Cashew Cashew’s mama was left behind when her family moved. Left in the yard of her “home.” She stayed in the yard according to the neighbors waiting for them to return. But they didn’t. She wasn’t spayed and got pregnant. Still, she waited with her babies in a drainpipe. We rescued them before the rains came. They would have drowned. Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Meet Emma! A charming eleven-year-old Basenji/American Pitbull Terrier mix from Broomall, PA, whose golden coat with white accents is as warm and inviting as her personality. This lovely senior lady is a bundle of joy who thrives on human connection and delights in spending time with her favorite people. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood or an adventurous trip to the dog park, Emma is always ready to get outside and enjoy the world around her! Emma has a playful spirit and a particular fondness for chew toys, which keep her happily occupied when she's not out exploring. She's well-trained and knows commands like "sit," "lay down," and "come," making her a well-behaved and obedient companion. Her friendly demeanor extends to other dogs, and she generally gets along well with her canine peers. Emma is also great with young children, but she’s a little more reserved around babies, so she would thrive best in a home without infants. At a medium size and weighing around forty-five pounds, Emma is the perfect fit for a family who enjoys an active lifestyle but also appreciates the value of a good cuddle session! She’s independent yet affectionate, loving yet composed, making her the ideal companion for a family who understands the balance between giving her space and showering her with love. Emma is house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. While she has a form of lupus, she currently doesn’t require any medication and is doing wonderfully! She’s a sturdy girl who just needs a caring and affectionate family that will give her the attention she craves. Her favorite routine is pretty straightforward—she needs to go out three to four times a day and enjoys her meals at regular intervals. She’s totally fine being left alone for short periods, making her a low-maintenance addition to the right home. Could you be the forever home Emma needs? If you’re ready to welcome this sweet and spirited dog into your heart and home, Emma can’t wait to meet you! Great news for potential adopters, Emma’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the family! Are you ready for the endless joy and companionship she brings? Contact us at adopt@joyfulpets.com today!
