Amun is a very sweet and loving Basenji boy. He is litter box trained. He has just turned 8. He loves attention and petting. He will yodel for you in the morning. He loves to run in his fenced yard. I have had him since birth. Now my serious health issues cause me to find him a new home. At night he stays in his 6’x10’ kennel.

** Current Location: at a private shelter in South Korea ** • Rescue Story : Meet Beckma👋 a friendly lovable boy! Beckma was found on a street in South Korea at just 2 months old in Nov 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his brother. Fortunately rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, the two brothers started living with numerous dogs in a private shelter. Sadly, both brothers haven’t had a single opportunity to live in a foster home until now, but Beckma’s sweetness shines through in the shelter. Beckma is ready to meet his loving family and start a new chapter of his life. Could that be with you? • Personality : Affectionate, Energetic, Playful Beckma is such a sweet and lovable boy! He will surely smother you with all the love and kisses that he has! He may seem shy and bark a little when you meet him first, but at any moment you will find him showing affection and wanting your pets. Beckma is a bundle of energy and charm. His playful antics and sweet personality will bring a smile to your face and fill your home with laughter! Although he is generally good with other dogs, he would best thrive in a home as an only child since he sometimes gets in fights with them. • Affinity with: -Cats: Not tested -Dogs: Generally good with other dogs, but he is not good with aggressive dogs. -Adults/Kids: Good with adults including men / not tested for kids • Shedding : 5-7 • Food Allergies : No food allergies. He doesn’t overeat. • Walking Manner : In training, but he has a reliable recall. • Housetrained : As a clean pup, he knows how to use pee-pads indoors although he lives in a shelter. • Bath/Brushing : Tolerates baths well / Brushing is unnecessary due to short coat. • Separation Anxiety : None. • Bark or Howl : Barks a little towards the dogs he doesn’t like or strangers, but becomes friendly easily with new faces. • Carsickness : in training! • Likes & Dislikes : He loves toys, treats, and people! / Not a fan of aggressive dogs.

Mae is a one year old female Basenji /Boston Terrier mix. She's a gorgeous dog and has a great personality. Mae is good with children and adults. She currently weighs 30 lbs. She becomes very attached to her human. Being the only dog in the home would probably work better or her. Not sure how she is with cats, but could easily check that if needed. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal or playtime and the confidence to succeed with her house training. Mae could be the one to bring some happiness and love into your life!To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. One day, she gave birth to a litter of several puppies, and sadly she lost most of her babies during labor as well as her own life. Milo was the only puppy who lived then and became a testament to the hope that can be found in an awful situation. He has been taken care of at the shelter since, looking for a loving forever home where he can grow and thrive. • Personality: Friendly, Active, Playful Milo is such a lovable pup who likes to play with people and doggos! He would be a great fit in a family that enjoys outdoor activities! • Affinity - With Cats: Not tested - With Dogs: Gets along with other dogs except for aggressive ones. - With Adults/Kids: Super sweet around people including men / not tested for kids • Shedding: 5-7 • Food Allergies: No allergies found so far • Walking Manner: In training. • Housetrained: He would use the bathroom outdoors if adopted. • Bath/Brushing: Tolerates both. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Bark or Howl: He doesn't bark unless he is left in a confined space. • Carsickness: Not experienced • Likes & Dislikes: He loves toys, treats, and people! / Not a fan of aggressive dogs.
