Meet Almond Almond's mama was left behind when her family moved. Left in the yard of her “home.” She stayed in the yard according to the neighbors waiting for them to return. But they didn’t. She wasn’t spayed and got pregnant. Still, she waited with her babies in a drainpipe. We rescued them before the rains came. They would have drowned. They are ready for forever homes! More info coming soon….. ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE or will be SPAYED OR NEUTERED. The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $65.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.) Emma was found as stray in a busy shopping strip by a good Samaritan. She is approx. 11 months old and weighs 22lbs. Very sweet demeanor, gets along well with other dogs, is crate and house trained and loves to hang out with people. Abandoned by his previous family in June while they moved, Champ spent an hour at the shelter door, crying for their return. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets.
