Meet Alice! She recently had hip surgery as her hip socket was popping out but we got that fixed and vet said it should be an easy and fast recovery! She also was a mom but all her puppies have moved on. **She is a young and medium energy level smart girl **Good with other dogs, playful but not too much and great at reading cues from other dogs **Loves people but does take a few days to warm up before she is coming up for pets and cuddles **Loves to play fetch and play with other dogs. Learning good recall as well **Kids would have to be older as she is still skittish and fearful so kids that can respect her space will be needed **Hasnt been cat tested but shes a sweet girl that would learn from one swat to leave the cat alone **She likes to chew on bones and hang out in the home. **Shes got a great energy and sweetness to her **Walking well on leash, house trained, crate trained and learning basic commands All POSO dogs come with 2 free dog training sessions and fully vetted

Meet Penny, a 6-year-old Basenji mix with a heart full of love and a spirited personality. Originally from Mexico, Penny made her way to California in December 2020 and was quickly adopted. However, she was returned when her previous family found out they were expecting a baby, and Penny wasn’t comfortable around the little one. Penny is a sweet and loving dog who thrives in the right environment. She’s fully house trained, never has accidents inside, and is a joy to have around. Penny enjoys long walks and playing with her toys, but she also loves relaxing and taking naps next to her favorite people. While Penny is not good with other dogs, cats, or kids, she is an ideal companion in a home where she can be the sole focus of attention. She’s working on her reactivity to other dogs on walks, so a patient family willing to help her through her anxiety would be the perfect fit. If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate dog who will shower you with love and appreciate a calm, dog-free home, Penny is ready to become a cherished member of your family.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!
