Bella is an extraordinary girl! She is very sweet and smart. She loves dogs of all sizes and she is great with children. Bella is high energy and would do best in an active home with another doggy friend to play with.

Meet Penny, a 6-year-old Basenji mix with a heart full of love and a spirited personality. Originally from Mexico, Penny made her way to California in December 2020 and was quickly adopted. However, she was returned when her previous family found out they were expecting a baby, and Penny wasn’t comfortable around the little one. Penny is a sweet and loving dog who thrives in the right environment. She’s fully house trained, never has accidents inside, and is a joy to have around. Penny enjoys long walks and playing with her toys, but she also loves relaxing and taking naps next to her favorite people. While Penny is not good with other dogs, cats, or kids, she is an ideal companion in a home where she can be the sole focus of attention. She’s working on her reactivity to other dogs on walks, so a patient family willing to help her through her anxiety would be the perfect fit. He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself.  He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing.  He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. Pretty Delta is a sweetheart. She's a young happy dog who loves to play and be affectionate. Delta's owners got rid of her because they were tired of having dogs. They dumped their 13 year old Shepherd as well. Thankfully, we were able to rescue them before the owners dumped them in one of the local shelters. Delta is great with other dogs and really just a nice, sweet dog. She will be great with another dog in the household or as a single dog. She's a great size at about 50 lbs. We are looking for an adult home with yard access for Delta.
