He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself. He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing. He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##

My brother and I got Thor when Thor was 3-4 weeks old. We bought Thor from a local seller near where we live in Santa Ana, CA. Thor is six year old now. He is a very gentle dog. Thor has a lot of experience being around people. We take him with us when we go out, so he is used to meeting new people. Thor loves to be pet and to receive belly rubs. He would literally roll over on the floor and show his belly to ask for a belly rub. He is a very loving and patient dog that deserves a good home. My brother has been taking care of Thor at his duplex rental. He lost his job a several months ago and had to move home with my dad and I. We live in a mobile home complex where our management does not allow us to keep large dogs. We have tried to keep Thor at our home for as long as we could. Our land manager said that we cannot keep Thor because we are only permitted to have small dogs in our complex. I hope to find Thor a home with a loving family who can appreciate his kind and loving nature.
