Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Big Mac (Max)  DOB: 11/25/2020.   System #:  T-DB101R-24    Big Mac is a Flame Point Siamese with big blue ocean eyes that will melt your heart. He’s a gentle, affectionate, and playful cat who adores attention and loves being petted (especially between his ears and under his chin). Big Mac’s favorite activities include bug hunting, bird watching, sunbathing, and playing with his favorite Cat Dancer toy (it mimics bugs). He also loves boxes, enjoys long naps, and takes pride in his grooming sessions. Big Mac came to Cat Matchers from a nursing home where he resided with a loving elderly woman.  The woman spent most of her days sitting in her chair with him in her lap petting him and indulging him with an excessive amount of treats.  He was previously named Sasha.  Unfortunately, the owner passed away leaving him confused and extremely obese, weighing 24 pounds at intake. This is when his name was changed to “Big Mac.”   Big Mac’s new foster parents have been working diligently with weight management, food control, and exercise by playing with him and encouraging movement, to safely reach his ideal weight and physique.  Big Mac would ideally be adopted by someone that will continue to work on keeping him on track to obtain a healthy weight, while also giving him all the love and attention that he deserves and craves.  Due to his large size, Big Mac should have an extra-large litter box.  Also, Big Mac is very heavy to carry, so currently has a stylin’ carrier on wheels!!   Want to adopt? Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   When the shelter called Cat Matchers, they said, "Know anybody who likes Siamese?  We have one here.  He's scared to death.  We have nicknamed him Pancake because all he wants to do is get under something as flat as possible and sit real still and hide." And, that's exactly what he did when he got to the foster mom's house - he hid.  For days.  One day she said to him, "Listen Buddy, I'm going to show you how to be a cat."  And, the name stuck . . . Buddy was much better than Pancake.  And, then the training began. Buddy has come a long, long way.  He is sleeping on the bed with his foster mom and jumping on her lap . . . but he's still not the kind of cat who will greet company at the door or be friendly to everybody right off the bat.  He will take a good long while to warm up, but then he will be your best friend.  Needs a special-hearted, patient, cat-loving adopter.  Would probably be best as an only child unless the other cats were tolerant and very, very friendly so he doesn't have to spend the rest of his life hiding under the bed from them. About 2 years old, neutered, tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS and current on shots. System No. DB-101-23 - DOB:  2/8/2023 To know more about this beauty, please fill out an adoption application and a Catmatchers volunteer would contact you soon:     https://catmatchers.org/adoptions/adoption_application_page/ **Want to adopt?
