Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is our Boston mix baby named Poppie. She is Boston Terrier/American Staffordshire terrier mix. Poppie is approximately a year old, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heart worm negative and has no health issues. Poppie is the exact coloring of a Boston. She weighs approximately 40 lbs and is house trained.
Poppie is very smart and we feel could be trained for agility courses or even a movie star! Poppie tries to figure out how things work, open doors and engages you to play. Sheâs high energy and gets along with everyone. She will chase cats- but not bite them. Poppie loves children as well, but because of her size and energy level, she would be best with older children.
This girl would be perfect for a family who wanted to have her participate on daily runs, hiking or any outdoor activities. Poppieâs recall is also excellent and immediately comes to you when asked. She is working on basic commands now. And, if you want the comfort of a snuggler in bed, she is your girl! Poppie does have food aggression tendencies and does best if no other dogs are near her when she eats.
Poppie just wants to be with you and please you. She is an escape artist and will climb a chain link fence in a heartbeat. But she will show up at the front door saying, "Look what I just did" and be very proud of herself. We think she would be best in a home where someone is home most of the day and have at least one other dog to play with.
If you are interested in adopting this intelligent, loving cuddle bug, please contact her foster Mama, Lisa, at 706-466-3603 orricknich02@yahoo.com. To adopt Poppie, go tobostonrescueofsc.com and fill out the adoption application. Her adoption fee is $175.00.
