My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is McFly, and my story is "ruff." On 10/3/13 WHS was notified about a severely injured dog that had just been fought and was lying in the grass in front of 602 46th Place SE. Humane Law Enforcement Officers arrived on scene and found me, alive, but in critical condition in the woods behind the area. I had bite wounds over my entire body, and I had 3 wounds on my neck consistent with an attempt to slit my throat. I'm not the only animal that WHS tried to save that week in the 3 other animal cruetly acts they think are linked to the one that befell me, but I am the only one alive to tell the tale.

I have been given a voice thanks to WHS and the BTRVA. I am a very good boy, house broken and sweet, gentle and trusting of humans despite what happened to me. I have learned the commands sit, stay, come and "go to your room" in the short week that I entered the rescue! I'm really smart!

I even behave as though I like other dogs! But BTRVA can't fully test me until I have healed from my ordeal. I have do so some more "cone time" and then I can start interviewing forever families.
