Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Marco is a Dachshund X with big ears, possibly a Canaan Terrier X. A real lovebug, he is crate trained and uses a doggy door. Very smart, energetic and would be great with children, cats etc.
Loves his people friends and other dogs. A perfect all around family dog. We estimate his age to be about 1 yr., vetted, neutered, vaccines current and rabies. Marco is the latest addition to be at ARC and was dumped outside the foster home. All Marco wants for Christmas is a new forever home.
ARC is now showing our rescued, adoptable pets at PetSmart #1509 at S. Tryon St. and Hwy 160 near Lake Wylie on Saturdays 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Please tell your friends and family to stop by and meet our rescued pets. You can also meet the adoptable pets during the week & weekends by calling 704-900-8019 to set up a convenient time and the location

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, rabies (age permitting). All dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated for parvo, etc. and rabies, HW tested and microchipped.
We don't know what these animals have gone through and endured, (or why) in their past lives to end up here. The only thing we can do is try, hope and pray we can give them a brighter future. We want our rescued pets to have stable, loving homes where they can get lots of love, attention and live out the remainder of their lives.
Animal care can be costly. Please consider whether you can afford and want the responsibility of a pet before you adopt so they never have to be homeless and end up in a shelter again.
