My story

Meet Sage & Strudel! Sage is a black dwarf Lionhead, and Strudel is a white Lionhead with black markings. They are both young females that are estimated to be around 1-2 years of age. They both were surrendered to Newark Animal Shelter because their owner "did not want them anymore". After thirty days at the shelter our rescue discovered them and took them in. These two girls are such sweet bunnies that do not show any signs of aggression, and are very friendly. They have both been great around other animals as well as children. It is very sad that they were abandoned at the shelter so young, and we are hoping they can find their forever home soon. Sage & Strudel have beautiful, fluffy hair due to the fact that they are Lionheads. They do not require any extra grooming, and their hair does not generally become tangled. Both girls do very well with being held, and they love attention despite being in the shelter for so long. They will be spayed very soon, and will be ready to go to their new home a week after their spay. They have also been seen by a vet, and are in excellent health. Please consider adopting these two as they are already a bonded pair, and bonded pairs are generally happier as they have a companion.
