Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Natasha and Meisha (the darker one) are delightful girls who love each other and everyone they meet. They are equally happy spending time in the yard together, or being crated in the house. They do not chew anything, not even the kongs filled with treats, tennis balls, their rope toy, or their crate beds. They get along fine with other large dogs, have ignored their foster familyâs small dog, but consider cats to be prey, so must be kept away from them. Both are very social and well-socialized and love going to PetCo and getting lots of attention.
These sisters would be perfect for a couple or a family that wants two dogs. Both need obedience training, as most rescued dogs do: it would be such fun for two family members to train them together, take them on walks together, sit on the couch with them together, play with them together, and have peace of mind knowing that if they have to be left alone, they will have each other for company. The only time they bark in the yard is when they hear a siren, or see a deer.
Both girls have affectionate and playful personalities and are eager to please. They come when they are called, know how to âsitâ%9D, and are learning leash manners.
Meisha and her sister Natasha are approximately 3 years old. They were rescued from an Alabama shelter in May 2013. These sweet girls had spent most of their life outdoors living on a chain. When they were brought into GSRCA they both tested positive for heartworms. They were successfully treated and are now ready for their forever homes.
