My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Cassandra, Cassie for short and I am one tiny little Cocker. I am full grown and weigh only 17 pounds. I was abandoned at the Lorain Kennel in such a messy state. I was covered in hair mats that were so bad I had to be shaved to the skin. It was a very frightening time for a little girl like me. I am adorable and I don't know why my previous owner didn't see that in me. I have now been groomed and I feel the best I have ever felt in my entire life...I am not a young dog but people always ask if I am a puppy because I am so little and I run and scamper around just like a puppy. I am always super happy, playful and I am guaranteed to make you laugh. I am crate trained and I get along just great with big dogs and little dogs. If someone out there needs a sweet girl to cheer them up or if they are looking for a friend for the dog they already have...I am the girl you have been looking for. You will not be disappointed when you meet me...I will steal your heart guaranteed!

ps...I got to sit on Santa's lap recently and I made sure he knew I was looking for a forever home...He smiled and said "Don't worry Cassie you are a very adoptable little girl". Whew! I was hoping Santa could see how precious I was and he did.
