Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nyla was an owner surrender because of financial reasons. She was in pretty rough shape when she came to us and she is considered a special needs dog because she requires twice daily medication in her eyes and will continue to need it for the rest of her life. She is 7-8 years older, but actually looks and acts older than her age, probably because she has lived a fairly rough life. Not in the sense that she was abused, but just not properly taken care of. She has since been spayed, vaccinated, and is on monthly heartworm prevention.
Nyla was actually adopted fairly quickly after coming to us, but unfortunately, she is back with us again. Sometimes these things happen and even when you think you've found that perfect home, unforeseen circumstances can occur. The important thing to understand is that any dog adopted from us, can always "come home" to us! No matter what the reasons or how much time has passed, our babies are always welcome back!
Nyla recently attended the Baldwin County Humane Society's Christmas by the Bay fundraiser, so her picture shows her wearing her holiday dress. Oh, and, yes, her tongue is always outside of her mouth. Makes her even cuter!
