Update 11-28-07
Tess has moved into an individual foster home. So now we know more about Tess and how she interacts in a home situation and with other pets. She lives with two other large dogs and a cat. GSRCA is happy to report she is curious, but very polite with the kitty. Her canine roommates are senior citizens so don’t return her play as much as she would like, but all is well in the yard and in the house. Tess spends the nights in her crate. She behaves well on a leash. Her foster mom walks all three dogs at once with little to no difficulty.
Tess is a real people dog. This doesn’t mean she can’t be left alone. But if a person is at home she wants to be with them. If you enjoy having an adoring companion lay at your feet (for hours) as you work at the computer or watch TV this is the dog for you.
She has beautiful facial expressions. She’s a smart girl and eager to please. Her coat is sable in color and silky soft. She weighs about 75 lbs. There is no evidence that she’s been in an abusive situation.
This dog is crate trained, spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and HW negative. Adoption application, home visit, and $300 adoption fee are required. Please read our adoption requirements on our home page. After reviewing GSRCA’s adoption process, please fill out the application completely. This is the first step in our adoption process. No adoption will be considered or discussed until the application has been received.
