My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Hank and I am a Hound dog. I am about 6 months old and weigh about 50 pounds. I started my life out with my mom and siblings but someone dumped my brothers, sisters and myself in the woods in rural TN close to Memphis. We were all so scared and we had no way to eat. One day I found food but it was a trap and I ended up at a kill shelter. I was even more frightened at that horrible place. I didn't have to stay to long because this rescue lady came along and took me out of there. I bucked all the way out the door! I had never been around humans and didn't know what was about to happen to me. She took me to a nice home and there were other dogs there and even a cat! Everyone there looked so happy and safe so I decided I was safe and could be happy too. I love playing with my foster siblings and the cat is pretty cool to. I also love humans now, they pet me and rub my belly and even give me treats! I am house broken and even though I like to play my most favorite thing is snuggling. I have all of my vaccinations, I am neutered and I have never had heartworms. Please consider me Hank as you next family member!
