My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a loyal, sweet, kind Rottie boy who was purchased by a family 5 yrs ago from a pet store. He was faithful to his family, helped raised & watched over the children that he loved & was companion and friend to all.

Now that the children have become teenagers, Jake had been thrown out of the house (where he slept happily on a bed) and into a tiny outdoor cage. His owner said they have 'no time' for him anymore because the kids have soccer & swimming. First she claimed she wanted to give him 'the perfect home' that she refuses to provide, but now she says she will have him killed if she cant find some place else for him.

Jake is 6 yrs old and as you can see in one picture, his front feet point out to the side somewhat. It doesnt affect his health in anyway and in our eyes, only makes him that much more special.

Jake would be the perfect addition to a home looking for the intelligence and loyalty only found in a Rottie, but without the high activity level of a puppy/teenage dog.

He needs loving hands, kind voices and a warm place to sleep for the rest of his days. He has certainly earned it......
