Available at 13 weeks - Beans came to us as a rescue from a very precarious situation with an absolutely despicable backyard breeder. She was so full of worms her entire body was emaciated and her hugely round belly was full of worms. All puppies are subject to our puppy adoption process which is outline below. All potential adopters will need to drive to Albuquerque if approved, to pick up their puppy. We do not ship nor will we arrange transport. Please read through the entire puppy adoption process prior to applying.
Beans's Adoption fee is $450 the puppies will be placed on foster to adopt contracts until such time as they are 6 months old and their spay/neuter is completed. If you are interested in adopting her please visit our website and fill out an adoption application!
Adoption Application
Anyone interested in adopting a puppy must complete our adoption application. Once you have completed the adoption application we will schedule your home visit and interview. If you are approved the puppies will have a $450 adoption fee which is to be paid upon signing the adoption contract at the time of approval, if you do not sign your contract and pay the adoption fee for the puppy you are interested in it will not be held for you, it will be available for adoption.
Once the puppies reach 13 weeks of age they are able to go into their new homes on a foster to adopt contract. This will state that the puppy belongs to the rescue until such a time as it is spayed and neutered at the age of 6 months. During this foster to adopt contract period the potential adopter/foster will be responsible for all puppy related expenses which will include puppy obedience school once they are old enough to attend.
At 6 months the puppy will be spayed/neutered by our rescue vet (out of state arrangements will be made prior to signing the adoption contract) and the cost of this procedure will be paid by the rescue. The following expenses are covered in the adoption fee: 3 sets of vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm prevention initial dose, and rabies vaccine. We will not 'reserve/hold' puppies for anyone. Only those who have been approved for adoption, and selected the puppy that we all agree fits best in their home and has signed their contracts and paid their adoption fees will have a puppy allocated to them, these puppies are essentially on their foster to adopt contracts which will start at 13 weeks. Each potential adopter will need to go through the application process before a puppy will be adopted to them. Please note that we reserve the right to deny an applicant for any reason at any time
