I think my name is Kaya although sometimes I get a little confused as everybody calls me Adorable or Perfect! People tell me that I look like a Miniature Pincher, whatever that is! I am small-only17 lbs, and have a shiny, short haired coat with beautiful black and tan markings. I am about a year old, so this is my full-grown size. I can’t tell you much about my early life, but I had an accident and my right hind leg was broken. My humans didn’t take me to a doctor-maybe they didn’t have enough money to take care of me. I was found limping on three legs trying to find food.
By the time my rescuers found me, my leg had begun to heal and it was too late to set it. They did a lot of therapy with me, and it doesn’t hurt me at all, I can now walk and run on it just like my other three, but I will have a bump on the inside of the leg forever. People tell me it makes me more unique.
I am very sweet and loving. I am house trained and very clean. I love to sleep quietly in my cozy crate, but really hope that you will let me sleep next to you in bed! I love everybody and every dog-especially puppies. I even like the weird thing they call a cat (although it doesn’t like me very much, so I leave it alone...) I walk on a leash, come when called)-most of the time, and know sit. I am being clicker trained and love to work for treats. I ride quietly in the car and have no problem with stairs.
I love my foster home, but now that I am healed, spayed, and vaccinated my people tell me that I am ready for my “furever homeâ€%9D. Are you it?
