Luke has been with Songdog for a couple months now, and his foster family has gotten to know him better. Here is what they have to say! He is about 80 lbs and estimated to be between 6 and 8 years old.

"Luke is one of the most gentle, sweet souls that you will find. He is a big guy that loves to be with his people and pack. He gets along great with other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone. He has been around cats and seems fine, wanting to be their friend (so far the cats don't seem that thrilled).

He is fine with children but because he is a big guy and unaware of his strength he might not be a fit for a home with really young kids. He is a little shy when he first meets someone but quickly warms up to being pet. He is truly special and deserves to find his forever home where he can deeply bond with his pack.

He gets nervous when he is home alone, and will find whatever people foods have been left out to make himself a snack. He is doing well at his foster home and his foster family loves him very much. He is a sensitive guy and needs to be with people who are willing to be gentle and patient with his sensitivities. Luke will make you laugh with his back scratch dance and sweet submissive behaviors."
