Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gus – This poor dog was wandering the streets for a few weeks near the railroad tracks in our community. He had been staying in front of an abandoned home and looking out for his family or waiting for someone who was never coming back. We asked nearby residents but no one seemed to know anything about him. Since he didn’t go far from the house or railroad tracks, we nicknamed him the “Station Agent.” We later named him Gus after the historic Gus Wortham Golf Course in Houston's East End.
Gus has beautiful eyes, one blue, one brown and a white coat with brindle spots. After his rescue he was treated for minor skin issues and has been fully vetted and neutered. He is under a year old and heartworm negative. He gets along well with cats and other dogs. If you are interested in meeting Gus, please email tauna@barriodogs.org
