"HELLO Hello! Are you there? Would you like to play ball? I would LOVE to
go for a walk!" Danny is a vivacious and athletic miniature poodle. (20
lbs and losing!) He is exuberant and friendly! Since being in foster care
he has been congenial with everyone he has met! What a great and wonderful
boy! He is affectionate and sweet! Danny has been on a reduction
diet/exercise program to help him shed his excess weight. He started out
with no muscle tone and walking was enjoyable although difficult for him.
Now, it's hard to keep up! He trots up and down the street and never seems
to tire out!
Playing fetch is his favorite activity! He is very attached to tennis balls
and his 'Kong' green squeaky donut, which happens to be his favorite!
Danny is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, eating well, potty
trained, leash and kennel trained. Danny is in need of dental care before
his adoption. He will have this procedure once he is in tip top shape.
He would do well in a home with other dogs. He just needs to have gentle
introductions! He has been a dream to bathe and groom!
I am not sure why Danny was placed into rescue, but it is very obvious that
he has been lovingly cared for. He was groomed regularly and walked,
although he was also spoiled by excess food and treats.
