My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh dear--where do I begin with my story. Well, I'm 3 years old, just a trim little gal at 10 lbs. You see, I was just released from a breeding kennel that's decided to close their doors--no more pups for me. I'm on the schedule to be spayed and get my teeth cleaned. Oh fun--I can hardly wait. But then the good times roll on in. I'll be able to go home to my new family. I'm not sure what that is but I just know I'm going to like it--I like everything and everybody. I may not know much about what it's like to be a dog, but I sure am anxious to learn. The exploring here at this house is great. They have nice cushy beds to sleep on, great food, treats and lots of hugs and kisses. I never had them before but I learned right quick, I like kisses. I have to admit, I didn't much like the bath but I feel better already. Yep, this is the life for me. Whew, we've accomplished a lot since I showed up--it's kind of exciting doing all this new stuff. It was pretty boring in the kennel--no toys, no treats, no one to swoop me up and nuzzle my neck. I've decided I need a family--a patient one to teach me how to play with toys, take me on walks once I learn all about a leash and this thing they keep talking about--housebreaking. Why can't I just go when nature calls--I've always done it before? Oh, right--that was then, this is now. New life they keep saying--and I've ready! My adoption fee is $385.
