My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Wendi. I am a 5 year old Pekingese mix weighing 12 lbs. who loves to play. Folks think it is a little strange but I even like cats. I flatten myself and pounce and paw like a cat then roll over for a traditional belly rub. I get along great with other animals and will share my food or toy with any of them, even children. Oh how I love children and adults too. Humans just make me happy. I love to go for walks on a leash and go for car rides. I like to be where my human is. I respond well to my name and aim to please. I get really excited when you come home and will run in circles and beg to be picked up. My foster family says I am a joy to have around. I do have a condition called "dry eye" and foster mom puts drops in my eyes to make them feel better. I don't like it but will let her do it so my eyes don't itch and I can see all the awesome things around me. I am fully vetted with all my shots, spayed, dewormed and on monthly flea treatment. The adoption fee of $100 goes to cover the cost of all this vetting.
